Work In Progress
If you’ve been clicking around this website, you would know full well that this website is a work in progress. No surprises there. This is not a big mystery. As you can tell, there’s a rough edge to this website.
This is not exactly one of those online platforms that require the work of thousands of well paid consultants to put up. In fact, when you look at many different parts of this website, it’s as if people just patched together their notes, did some data entry on WordPress, and published it on the internet.
This is where you come in. It is our intention from Day One that this website operates as some sort of community around the music of Brand New Sin.
The fact that you’re here means that you are interested in the band. The fact that you are here means that you see some value in their work and would like to know more about them. You are precisely the kind of person we need to help take this website to the next level.
How Can You Help?
You can help, first, by clicking on as many different links as possible. Do yourself a big favor and just click through all the content we have made available. You’re helping us out not just by making sure that a lot of the stuff is updated, but you’re also helping us take this website to the next level by simply quality control.
When you click on a link and it goes to a broken link or a broken page, let us know. When you click on a link and the pictures don’t load right or there are place markers for pictures, do reach out to us.
These may seem like small things, but they do add up because there are so many pages on this website. We can’t possibly be on top of everything. This is where you come in. You are an extra set of eyeballs.
Help us improve this website so it can continue to contribute to the musical experience of fans of Brand New Sin, not just in New York or the United States, but all over the world.
Another way you can help is through your suggestions. We know that this website has a lot going for it. It contains information that you really can’t get from more official sites.
But with that said, there may be technical issues in terms of formatting. Articles may not be all that complete or easy to understand. Whatever the problem may be, do let us know. As the old saying goes, the only stupid question is the one that wasn’t asked.
Now, please understand that if there is some sort of issue that you keep running into, you need to report it. Because if enough people report a problem, chances are, we will get to it sooner rather than later.
We operate purely on an urgency basis. In other words, if so many people complain about an issue, we are more likely to view it as urgent. This means that we are more likely to fix that problem compared to other issues that were reported.
Now, nowhere in this does it mean that we’re not going to get around to the lower priority stuff. It’s our goal to take care of those issues sooner rather than later.
Still, given our limited resources, we would focus first on the issues people complain about the most and then train our attention to smaller stuff or lower priority stuff when we have the time, effort and resources.
Reach out to us and let us know what you think. Let us know of any problems, and please, share any solutions you know about.
